Pharos 2020 Wine Release - 30 August 2024
Be part of the exclusive release of our 2020 vintage Pharos wine, celebrated with a special menu that complements this exceptional Bordeaux. The evening will feature insights from winemaker James Rowan. Discover the depth of Pharos, and enjoy an evening filled with fine wine, music, a 4 course menu and engaging conversation.
Please note that the ticket covers the 4 course set menu, wine will be available to purchase at an additional cost.

Pharos Dinner Menu – Set 4 Course Menu

Entrée
- Venison Carpaccio: Delicate slices of venison carpaccio, complemented by crunchy pistachios, fresh watercress, a rich Pharos reduction, shallots, and shavings of Grana Padano.
- Stracciatella with Mushroom: Creamy stracciatella cheese paired with sautéed mushrooms, parsley pesto, and a mix of seeds, served with house-made focaccia.
Main
- Lamb Shank & Pharos Tagine: Slow-cooked lamb shank infused with Pharos wine, served with creamy polenta and BBQ baby carrots.
Cheese Course
- Blue Cheese: A selection of blue cheese served with quince, walnut, fig chutney, pumpernickel, and lavosh.
Dessert
- Pharos Poached Pear: Pear poached in Pharos wine, paired with a hazelnut and white chocolate mascarpone, and thyme butter shortbread.
While we will do our utmost to accommodate all dietary needs, please understand that this is a limited menu event, and we may not be able to fulfill every request.
Seating Arrangements: Please email Cherie at functions@brickbay.co.nz if you wish to be seated next to another booking. Include the names associated with the other booking.

Cancellations: Please cancel as early as possible to allow us to fill your spot. Cancellations made up to 72 hours before the event are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 per ticket cancellation fee. Cancellations within 72 hours of the event are non-refundable.
Ticket Policy: Tickets are valid only for the date of the event and are non-transferable.
Event Cancellation: In the unlikely situation that this event is cancelled, all tickets will be refunded in full.
